About Us

Our name Certium — derived from the word "certain" begins to tell the story of how we construct passive, active and quantitative strategies which provide clients with risk controlled exposure to equity markets. Our proprietary models utilize decades of historical data to identify high potential investment candidates that we believe possess the best combination of earnings and relative valuation characteristics.

At Certium, we provide clients with three risk controlled investment strategies that can be aligned to clients' preference for tracking error. We seek to capture outperformance by selecting securities with characteristics that we believe are superior to their peers, but we put a large emphasis on selling those securities that are not meeting our expectations. We believe our degree of rigor, depth of analysis and level of experience and confidence give our clients the certainty that they are in good hands.

Certium, located in Atlanta, Georgia, manages $2.7 billion in assets* for individual accounts and sub-advised mutual funds, common trust funds, collective investment trusts and variable investment trusts.

Certium is an independently managed subsidiary of RidgeWorth Capital Management, Inc. Prior to 2008, Certium Asset Management was known as the Specialty Equity division of Trusco Capital Management, Inc., which became RidgeWorth in 2008.
