International Equity Index Portfolio

The strategy seeks to provide investment results that correspond to the aggregate price performance of the securities included in the Morgan Stanley Capital International Europe, Australasia, Far East (EAFE), GDP Weighted Index. We employ a stratified sampling of the MSCI EAFE GDP-weighted Index to select stocks and a multi-factor risk model and quadratic portfolio optimization to determine portfolio weights.

This portfolio is available through individually managed accounts and subadvisory relationships.

Domestic Equity Index

The strategy seeks to provide investment results that correspond to the S&P 500.

Quantitative

Large Cap Quantitative Equity Portfolio

The strategy seeks to provide long-term capital appreciation by investing in domestic large cap companies ($3 billion or more in market cap) with the most attractive earnings growth prospects and valuation characteristics within their respective sector.

International Quantitative Equity

The strategy seeks to provide long-term capital appreciation by investing in international companies with the most attractive earnings growth prospects and valuation characteristics within their respective region and sector.

Large Cap U.S. Equity 130/30

The strategy seeks to generate alpha (risk adjusted return relative to the benchmark) by establishing long and short equity positions in U.S. companies.

Active

International Equity Portfolio

The strategy seeks to provide long-term capital appreciation by investing primarily in the common stocks and other equity securities of foreign companies that managers believe have the best combination of relative value and earnings growth. The strategy utilizes company-specific research and analysis to identify companies whose stocks rank well on quantitative measures and which also have solid business fundamentals.
